Kelsey Fairbairn

Previously working in Learning Support at a Christchurch primary school, Kelsey specialised in Speech and Language Therapy and uses Structured Literacy (SL) to support neurodiverse learners.

She’s passionate about the Science of Reading and understanding how the brain learns to read. Kelsey completed her LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) training and qualification in 2021 and has tutored a range of children from primary school through to high school.

She is excited to be part of a team using an evidence-based approach to help students gain confidence through knowledge and achieve growth in their learning.
